Adam Shield (b. 1988, Newcastle Upon Tyne). He studied at the RA Schools (2014-2017) and Newcastle University (2007-2011).

He co-runs Long Distance Press with Thomas Whittle.

IMAGE DRUM - 2019 - Royal Academy of Art - Co-curated with Thomas Whittle, as Long Distance Press, we used the exhibition space as a public print workshop. Working with 4 invited artists Katharina Höglingerr, Sam Austen, Anastasia Pavlou, and Brian Griffiths we produced artist publications in the exhibition space over a 5 week period.
IMAGE DRUM - 2019 - Royal Academy of Art - The walls of the exhibition space functioned as an evolving publication of print outs, drawings and plans, generated by the artists working there.
